Obviously, there is no foolproof method for winning all sports bets. There are, however, several strategies that serve not only to increase earnings in the long run but also to limit any losses that the player will have to endure during his betting journey. In this last part of our guide, we will try to go into detail about some of the sports betting methods that we recommend to start your business, always trying to responsibly set the odds amounts. Next, we will introduce you to the Masaniello method and the 1-2 method, both of which are excellent systems for winning bets!
Winning bets with the 1-2 method
The 1-2 method is among the soccer betting tricks used by bettors to increase profits. These types of bets can provide a very good return on what you have played, making them very profitable in the long run. The system consists of betting on double chance 1-2 and even, with two different bets. By “even” in this case we mean the prediction that concerns the even goal sum of the match (i.e. 0-0, 2-0, 0-2, 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-0, 3-1, 1-3) and goes for the X sign. For this reason, this method is often played within a system with multiples, guaranteeing a substantial return to those who play.
But let’s see how the 1-2 method works. First you need to identify odds where the 1-2 double chance pays around 1.30; at the same time the draw should be around the 1.80 mark. At this point you can play on 6 events (obviously be careful with the choice, a minimum of study of the matches considered is essential) both the 1-2 double and the draw, building a 64-column system. By necessity, you will have a winning column, as either team can alternately win or draw. A method that allows two conditions to come true.
If a game ends with one of the teams winning and with an even goal sum (e.g., 2-0 , 3-1 or 4-0) the predictions will both be valid: each 1-2 correct will double the winning columns. Continuing in the example we might consider other scenarios. Winning sounds easy, but it is not: in fact, there is a possibility that you will lose should certain conditions occur. For example, if the matches all ended with a 1-0 result you would have only one winning column (capital loss). With five 1-0s and one 2-0 ditto; likewise, with four 1-0s and two 2-0s.
As we have seen, this system is not without its criticalities, particularly for less experienced users who may find the mode of play complicated or for those who have some difficulty with a more serious mathematical approach.
The Masaniello Method
In this section of our tutorial we introduce you to the Masaniello method. This amount management tool has established itself since its invention as one of the most successful in the sports betting world for earning money from sports betting from a mathematical method. For those who already have a good knowledge of betting, it is likely that you have previously heard of the Masaniello method: it is an Excel sheet-based mathematical model developed in 2002 by Massimo Mondò and Ciro Masaniello.
Once you have set up the 4 variables, thanks to the Excel spreadsheet this system allows you to figure out how much money to invest on the chosen series of events and to know what the final gain will be. It is very important to choose events that do not take place at the same time: this is because, if the predictions we have entered contain more errors than those we have predicted, we can always “adjust” our bet by changing the size of the bets and lengthening the series.
To use the Masaniello method, you must first establish an initial budget, and then select the events to bet on, choosing average odds and number of events. After that you will have to establish a margin of error: during this step, you will be able to calculate what amount you need to invest to have a profit margin. Next, enter the data into the Excel sheet, which collects budget, selected matches and odds. Now, you will be able to find out the winnings that can be achieved, coming up with the calculation of how much you can invest on the event. Finally, don’t forget to readjust the progression should the results not come: the method we have considered is very elastic and will allow you to modify it by clicking on “Extend progression” on Excel.
We now come to a question that surely interests the majority of Italian bettors: can Masaniello be used with respect to soccer betting? The answer is unequivocally affirmative. This method was born and developed in Italy and therefore the first sport for which it was designed is precisely the game most loved by Italians and for this reason it is also suitable for playing predictions with three possible outcomes (the classic 1X2).
